We were commissioned by Swerve Represents and Havas CX to produce a stills and moving image campaign featuring the Porsche Macan T
We spent two days shooting in and around the streets of Manchester with an amazing team. Lots of new glass and steel developments balanced with the old red brick mills that have been beautifully restored. What a beautiful city of two textures and the perfect backdrop for our brief.
Inline with our ethos, we approach the shoot with green intentions at the forefront, sourcing as much as we could local to the city.
We worked along side Manchester based location scout Heather Gant to help us find and secure our locations. We cast our talent through Manchester based BOSS models to ensure all were local to the shoot. All onset shoot catering was veggie and supplied by local catering company Taste The Love and finally we housed our crew in Manchester Premier Inn which is powered by renewables.
In addition to this, our amazing stylist Robyn Knight used a mix of models own and second hand wardrobe to add a sense of worn authenticity.
To understand our impact, we first gathered the data from all crew and cast along any expenses such as hotels, catering and travel. (Essentially any project expense paid for by Perma Collective and invoiced to the client). We then inputted and measured our impact using AdGreens carbon calculator tool.
Perma’s footprint for this project was 1.05 tCO2e which is about the same as the emissions created by flying 4469 miles. Or from London Heathrow to Miami, Florida.
